Caffeine And Cellulite: One Affecting The Other

There’s little question that cellulite is an issue for millions of people.  When people experience the struggles of fighting this form of fat, they often become frustrated in finding ways to combat this aggravating problem.  For some, surgery is an option they look to for help – but procedures such as liposuction are not guaranteed to be safe and must always be used with caution and consultation with a physician.  Fortunately, there may be another avenue to remove cellulite:  caffeine.  As it turns out, some have made a link between the use of caffeine and cellulite removal.

 

How does caffeine work to take care of cellulite??  And just as importantly – is it really, truly effective??  Actually it may be in how you apply it to your cellulite issue.  If you drink lots of caffeine, some say that it is one way to increase cellulite production in the body.  However, studies have shown that caffeine contained in topical creams that are applied to the skin do have some potential benefits.  Claims abound that caffeine reduces the thickness of fat cells in the legs, thighs, and other areas.  Many women are turning to this form of treating cellulite in hopes of removing that cottage cheese once and for all.

 

Some attempt to apply these creams and melt the fat away.  Many creams claim to have cellulite-burning properties due to their caffeine ingredient.  With some people, it comes down to actually using coffee grounds to extract the caffeine properties from that.  To do this, take some slightly warm coffee grounds, rub them along the cellulite-stricken areas, and it should create a residue.  Putting seaweed wraps on the areas rubbed will help in detoxifying the fatty areas.

 

While it all sounds great to take advantage of what some see as a miracle cellulite cure, others aren’t so sure.  Skeptical individuals have looked into research and tests performed to determine the effectiveness of caffeine on cellulite reduction.  What those people found is that there isn’t necessarily a noticeable difference when using caffeine products to alleviate the fat.  Instead, it’s starting to look more and more like exercise is still the way to go in treating cellulite.

 

So it is indeed possible that these creams and other sources of caffeine can help.  But when it comes to caffeine and cellulite, it is always good to stick to focusing on exercise and diet, and worry about these things as they come.
